Kristin Sack, affectionately known to the children as Mrs. Sack, embarked on her Montessori journey while attending Minnesota State University, Mankato. There, she earned a degree in Family Consumer Science with a focus on Family Life and Child Development. During her time at Mankato, Mrs. Sack discovered her passion for Montessori education while working part-time at a Montessori school in Brooklyn Park, MN. After graduating, she spent four years as an assistant teacher before pursuing her Montessori training at St. Catherine’s in St. Paul in 2007.
Mrs. Sack dedicated nearly 20 years to Step by Step Montessori before being blessed with the opportunity to join The Way of the Shepherd in 2017.
Mrs. Sack has been happily married to her husband, Brandon, for over 20 years, and they have two wonderful boys, Aiden and Bennett. She is an avid sports fan, enjoying the thrill of watching the Minnesota Timberwolves, college basketball, and, despite the annual heartbreak, cheering on the Vikings. Mrs. Sack loves playing volleyball, running on the treadmill, and spending her summers golfing and swimming at Bunker Park. She feels incredibly fortunate to attend all of her children’s sporting events, which bring her immense joy.
Working at such an amazing school with supportive families and children who love to learn is a true blessing for Mrs. Sack. She cherishes every moment and looks forward to many more years of inspiring young minds.
